These are exciting times in impact measurement!
We are looking for community champions to join our very first Technical Committee!
A central premise of the Common Approach’s work is that impact measurement should be community-driven. For the Common Approach standards to be truly community-driven, the substantive direction of each standard will be undertaken by Technical Committees of engaged users and people with expert knowledge.
Our inaugural Technical Committee will focus on the Common Impact Data Standard.
The goal of the Common Impact Data Standard is to simplify the sharing and analysis of impact data, including data from different sources, organizations, and software.
At this time, we are focused on recruiting five to eight experts in data standards or software, to help draft the next version of the Data Standard and formalize the processes for and responses to community input.
